Treatise on Interpersonal Communications

The Bible is the best interpersonal communications treatise.
It teaches us the best ways to interact with God and with
our fellow human-beings.
In regards to our relationship with other people, it is written
that when Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He said,
"...Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass
against us." (Matthew 6:12)
"as"--in the same manner. Do we want God to refuse to speak to
us when He says that He forgives us?
Jesus also summarized all the law in 2 commandments:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with
all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your
mind; and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27)
"as"--in the same manner. Do we want to be charged, judged,
and sentenced by others without facing our accusers, without
us hearing the specific charges, without being able to defend
ourselves? Not really. Misjudgment, slander, and gossip are cheap,
but their consequences are destructive. Are we listening to and
believing an accusation without taking the time to talk and
listen to the person being judged and condemned?
"And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good,
acceptable, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2)
"Let love be without hypocrisy; abhor what is evil, adhere to
what is good. (Romans 12:9)
